April can still bring rainy days - even some sleet, but flowers are showing up and everything is a lot more colorful.

January Bead Journal Project. 2012
This is my journal entry for January. I wanted to convey snow and ice but with flowers and fun. So I have pretty snow flowers popping out of drifts of snow under a blue sky. The background fabric I used has white snowflakes and I set a layer of organza over it that has silver snowflakes. I used some stitches on my sewing machine to add patterns of ribbons and snowflakes swirling around.
